I've been playing around with some of the new features on Conversant's new weblog plugin this morning. While there are still bugs, there is some serious depth in this thing. I'm getting new ideas for my own site and for other sites I help manage.

You have but a moment to capture your audience. It need only take the mere corner of a page to draw them in. With a degree in graphic design and years of experience in print, multimedia, and web design, I can work with you to discover the key visual elements and themes that will effectively communicate the essence and mission of your organization. I can create basic logo designs to full corporate identities, print publications, product packaging design, web sites, intranet or extranet interface designs, and GUI's for web or desktop applications.

[via Truer Words] Conversant's Weblog 2.0 plugin is finally ready for very early pre-release testing. I'm going to call this "alpha" testing, instead of beta, as many features -- ones that haven't been discussed outside of Macrobyte -- have not yet been fully implemented. ... Work on the plugin up to this point has been all about making it work right, and making it powerful. Making it fast comes last. (link) Mmmmmm, can't wait!

... why not keep yourself amused on the bus by reading the latest headlines from your favourite news sites? ... Wouldn't it be great if you could put some of it on your iPod? We thought the answer was yes, and so PodNews was born. (link) I wondered when Apple introduced the iPod why it had such a generic name... I guess by now we know! Go Apple!
