Dave McCusker got himself a shiny new TiBook a little bit ago, and is learning the pleasures of Mac OS X. I love seeing someone "get it" (no matter what they're "getting"). What a cool thing.

Who says infertility can't be funny?
From an infertility board I came across (the web is funny like that) (The question is about alcohol affecting infertility treatments, the doctor's response is below):
Tattoos
I'm headed up north to Flagstaff today with a friend of mine - he's getting the final piece of a set of tatoos that cover his whole upper right arm. Dustin is, literally now, a "piece of work". -)
That Same Flower
Jodi and I went to the central Phoenix Library today, to pick up several books. We left with the two I needed, plus one other of interest: That Same Flower, by Jostein Gaarder (review).
Janis Ian on RIAA, internet music downloads
This has been blogged a number of other places, but I just got around to reading it and you should too.
Java/WebObjects Developer
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am now available for Java/WebObjects work. I also have some experience in J2EE/Servlets, and a degree in Graphic Design. I've been developing websites in a number of environments since 1996, and have worked with clients to help them define their needs and requirements.
WebLogger MEETUP
(Thanks Doc!) Meet MEETUP, the site that lets you arrange meetups with like-minded people in your area. There's a weblogger meetup group, too. ;)
Eclipse 2.0 released, wherefore Mac OS X?
Eclipse 2.0 has been released. Eclipse is a Meta-IDE, an integrated development environment for programmers that can be configured to work with most any language/runtime. You can download 2.0 here, but I'm wondering what would need to be done to get a copy running on Mac OS X. There are Win32 and native X Windows versions... but it seems there's no (at elast) Pure Java version.
Mac OS X Web Services Apps
Brent is thinking about creating a mailing list for Mac OS X application developers who are working in the area of webservices, specifically desktop apps for web services. I think this is a great idea, and will help show others what a great platform Mac OS X is!
Crazy Unicycle Guy
We went hiking at South Mountain last weekend, and we saw this guy on his mountain-bike-unicycle. He rides the trails over South Mountain just like the other (seemingly thousands) of cyclists. Nuts. Just plain nuts. I can't imagine the strength or balance required for this.

Bowling
Jodi and I went bowling last night with a bunch of friends from church. Neither of us had been bowling since junior high, so we were abit rusty. I think my three games were 84, 98, and 102. Ouch. But - we had a blast! Hanging out with friends, having a great time, it was all a Friday night should be. I managed a couple strikes, completely by luck I'm sure! Jodi got one or two as well, and we both had (more than) our fair share of gutterballs! Thank goodness we were with friends! -)
Wishlist
I finally set up my wishlist at Amazon. If you'd like to make me real happy, pick something from that list! :)
