@uberfuzzy Yeah, that’s not bad for explicitly marked up stuff. A pain for general text. I guess a CMS could take care of it.

@joestump I was wondering about something in Javascript, but access to the clipboard in Javascript seems like it would be a bad idea.
Is there a way to mark up content in HTML so that it shows smart quotes but copying the text yields dumb quotes?
