This post is a reminder/bookmark for myself and anyone else on how to customize a StyleCatcher theme in Movable Type without losing the ability to use the original theme in the future.

A reminder for social software nerds in the Bay area: Six Apart is hosting a Portable Contacts hackathon today, and tomorrow is the Portable Contacts Summit at the MySpace offices. I want to talk more about Portable Contacts and what this means, but that’s for another post.
