Testing Post Form

Hm, ok, this is the second try. I added the redirect when posting a new thread trick to this form, so hopefully after posting it will return to the comments page.

Ego-Surf Scripting News

Dave has some sort of weblog search running on Scripting News that uses Google.

New Comments View

I've made some changes to the site here - I've had feedback from some people that the discussion group view was a bit intimidating, so I've implemented a Radio-comments style comments interface.

Marco D'Aviano, Patron Saint of Geeks

The Pope recently beatified Marco D'Aviano, a 17th century monk who gave the world cappuccino. W00t!

Shaolin Soccer

The Stephen Chow Hong Kong action-comedy Shaolin Soccer looks absolutely hysterical. Coming to the states in August. Whee! "When you can kick an egg without breaking it, you will be ready to join the team!"

Ow

Whimper. Will someone please Reload my brain? I think it broke. Wow.

Gorgonzola Pizza Rocks

Jodi picked up a yummy Gorgonzola/Pear Pizza at Trader Joe's. Yay!

Flack in Blogland: PR and Blogging

Michael Clarke posted (it's an old post, but I just found his weblog) [some mildly tortured self-analytical thoughts](http://llareggolb.blogspot.com/2003_04_01_llareggolb_archive.htmlNone#200208624) about being a PR flack and what happens when PR and Blogging collide...

Wednesday, 11:00 PM

Jodi and I now have tickets to the movie of the year. Yay!!

I Love Me, vol. I

Heh. New blog to read: I Love Me, vol. I. Pointed out to me by Bill, who just got his first non-Google, non-Monkinetic referral from them. smile.

RSS for Weblogs

Interesting discussion going on about RSS. Yes, again. Here's Ben Trott talking about a profile for RSS specifically for weblogs. The only thing he includes that I wouldn't is trackback as a requirement.

Hyatt blogs redesigned

Dave Hyatt, beloved of Safari-using geeks everywhere, has had his two blogs redesigned. Very nice!!

Nullgel: "Sneakers Journal"

Nate is building a robot out of LEGO and is documenting the process. His writing style is really clever, IMO.

Geek Receptor Overload

Dave Hyatt:quoteIf my geek receptors aren't burned out by X-Men 2, they are guaranteed to be overloaded by the righteousness of The Matrix Reloaded.endquote MMmmmmm, Matrix.

Internet Help Desk

Those Canadians sure know their comedy.

Back in Coffee Rush

I'm back at Coffee Rush, which currently occupies the "World's Best Coffee Shop" slot in my mind. I'm working on correspondence and listening to Fleetwood Mac on the shop sound system. (Not on my TiBook, which will never be polluted by that stuff...)

Edit This Statement

Dave says:

Coffee Rush and the web

I got to talk to Mo, owner of Coffee Rush, today. He and his brother Yanni (no idea if I'm spelling that right - they're Jordanian) have been running Coffee Rush for a year now, and evidently started planning for it 5 years ago.

Picking Up My Slack

Jodi, dear that she is, has been picking up my blogging slack lately over on . She's covered our visit to Paulo Soleri's Arcosanti, my mom's plans for an Ivy Family portal, as well as a site of her own, and she's reviewed X-Men 2, which we saw yesterday (hint- it rocked!). If posting seems slack here, for the latest!

Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Tempe

Web, Graphic Design: " alt="VCFT Redesign" width="237" height="193" align="right" border="0"> I've been working with the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Tempe (VCFT) in Tempe, Arizona, on a new website. The old site was a very basic static HTML site, managed largely by a single staff member.
