WebObjects
I took a big step last night toward fulfilling a 5 year dream: to try developing web applications using Apple's "WebObjects".
CNet News.com picks up the tabs
News.com now sports an admittedly spiffy new design, with the seemingly obligatory set of tabs across the top of the page.

RSSPuller development continues
Since things have been slow at work, I've continued on development of the "RSSPuller". It now reads RSS 0.91, 0.92, 0.92d2, and RDF 0.9 Simple. The code is also much better factored now, resulting in less debugging time. Thanks to the iDO Script scheduler, it's running (4 times successfully now!) every 30 minutes on my work machine.
BrainForest-Scripting mailing list
In the absolute dirth of web resources for scripting Aportis Technologies' BrainForest, I've started brainforest-scripting, a new mailing list for people interested in using AppleScript (or other OSA-compatible language) and Brainforest.

Dave and RSS: Stop Breaking My Software!
OK, I didn't trash Dave before. Now I'm ready to. Dave has made a big deal about RSS 0.91 being his format of choice for content syndication. Now he's developing RSS 0.92 on his own, and writing tools that not only use the new elements of RSS 0.92, but his software has stopped using the tags RSS 0.91 introduced! How are we supposed to join Dave's "flow" if he swaps out features on us?
RSS Puller
After spending time learning just about every other interesting scripting language undet the sun, I realized recently that I had totally neglected a powerful tool, right under my nose: Applescript.
Web-App CMS's reviewed by BBC
The BBC reviewed several free website Content Management Systems including Editthispage.com, Free-Conversant, and WikiWeb.com.
Was I trashing Dave?
