Ok, Jodi and got here to the Apple Store as Steve was wrapping up the last four months of products.

I know, I haven't been posting lately. But today is Apple's big music-related announcement, for which broadcast Jodi and I are going to the Chandler Apple Store. Yay!

Ok, I haven't had a really BAD (all capital letters) day for a long time until yesterday, and yesterday sucked.

Mmmmm, coffee. Wireless coffee. Jodi and I are hanging at the Coffee Rush, a local coffee shop with free wireless internet access. Yummy!

This weekend Bill and I went mountain biking over to the Cave Creek Dam (1922, present day). It was an awesome ride with diverse terrain, including cross country, hard packed trails, gorges, and the large wash in front of the dam.

Yeah, yeah, the real unix admins make backups of any file they're going to delete. And if they're just testing, they don't actually delete the file, they just move it or rename it. I, on the other hand, am still waking up and got a tad enthusiastic.

I've been trying to diversify my NetNewsWire habits. Recently added:

I know it's old hat by now for many, but I really like the new Macromedia.com website. It uses Flash in a good way, IMO. It's intereesting, integrated, but I don't feel like I'm forced to use it to get around the site. Tasteful.

Oh, crap. He finally got me to check this out. Before, I only had to whine when this wasn't updated. Now I can jones for Sluggy Freelance, too.

I'm spending the day writing a proposal for a potential client, for some corporate identity/print/web work. It will be a good project if I can make the proposal attractive enough (financially, and without screwing myself). I absolutely hate writing proposals. I suck at it, it's hard work, but it's absolutely necessary.

Well, most everyone knows by now, Scoble's headed to Redmond to become an Evangelist for the next version of Windows. I have mixed feelings about this - I've gotten a chance to chat with Robert a lot recently, and I have a feeling that's going to change (because he's going to be even busier and because he's now under the Mother-Of-All-Non-Disclosure-Agreements). So I'm a bit sad about that.

Last night I hosted an all-guys Pampered Chef party in my home. Pampered Chef makes the very coolest kitchen utensils, gadgets, pots, pans, etc... A good friend of ours just became a consultant, and so we offered to host a party.
