Just thought I'd point out that Radio Userland ships soon, and along with it a new era in Frontier-based scripting for those who do not need Frontier as a server platform. Right now I'm developing a Tool that runs unit tests on our internal XML-RPC server. Sweet!

Media site
I've started using Radio Userland again recently, and have found that its upstreaming-via-ftp feature is a great way to get file and images onto my static server. That site is now media central for this site.

ATTN Readers and Webloggers: Link Changes
I've changed the behavior of the links on the post titles on redmonk.net. Clicking the title will now take you to the thread page for that message, which I think is more useful (and prettier too). If you want to view just the message, or link to a post, use the "Msg Link" link just below the post.
The Tick to be canceled

Radio X
Brent from Userland wrote up a description as to how Radio Userland 8.0 is a Mac OS X app. I don't know how much Radio is going to cost when it is released, but 8.0 may be the version to bring me back to Frontier.

Eager iMac
One of the things I like about the new iMac. Check out this picture from Chris DiBona - the iMac seems "eager". "Use me!" it says.

Creative External SoundBlaster
Found on SlashDot: an external SoundBlaster box from Creative. Looks pretty cool. It's got a bunch of inputs (including midi, optical, two minis - device and mic, and more) and as many or more outputs, including 5.1 surround. Wow. Neat.

Gates Admits XP is "Big Brother"
"You can consider it the little brother version of Windows XP," said Gates.
Pay attention, Bill!
Gates again at CES: "When I created Microsoft 27 years ago, I never thought I'd create something that would allow me to humiliate myself repeatedly."
