I'm going to call this "alpha" testing, instead of beta, as many features -- ones that haven't been discussed outside of Macrobyte -- have not yet been fully implemented. ... Mmmm, an RSS news aggregator for your iPod.

... why not keep yourself amused on the bus by reading the latest headlines from your favourite news sites? ... Wouldn't it be great if you could put some of it on your iPod? We thought the answer was yes, and so PodNews was born. (link) I wondered when Apple introduced the iPod why it had such a generic name... I guess by now we know! Go Apple!

I was showing off some of my recent work to a friend, and he commented "It doesn't look like a [certain CMS] site at all!".

Over the last few days I've been working on a new design for the website for my father's company. I really like the design, and it's working well in each area that I implement it.

Apple has released WebObjects 5.2, with built-in support for web services and a number of other improvements.

I've just set out a beta for a new app to a few users. The app is called "TerminalBar", and it lets you enter a unix command string (any number of commands tacked together with semi-colons), an optional working directory to run them in, and whether or not to open a new Terminal window to run it in (otherwise it gets run in the background).

If you use .Mac, and want to start a weblog, Lifli Software has a solution: iBlog! After iPhoto came out, I had this same basic idea: an i-themed weblog application. Glad to see someone built it!

Here's a hint of what I've been working on today. It's useful so far, much more so once I solve some UI issues.
