Morning Coffee Notes

Is Dave becoming a warblogger? -)

Wannabes

Seth rants on the "My blog don't get 'nuf hits!" crowd. My favorite quote:

I'm Steve, and I'm a super-villain!

Simon Says use Creative Commons

Simon Extreme is a Mac OS X "reinterpretation" of the classic Simon game. Interestingly, Simon Extreme is shipped under a Creative Commons license, and source code is available. As if that's not enough, the designer of the interface, Rich of Richd.com, is making available some sample Photoshop files of the interface, so that GUI designers can see how the interface was built up. Classy stuff.

Powered by Jim Roepcke

Jim's just finished porting his employer's website to Plone, an open-source content management system. Hopefully you'll be able to read more about it on Tyrell's Enterprise Corner soon.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Learning JavaScript

After basically trying to ignore DHTML for a really long time, I've begun venturing into new territory lately.

Happy Birthday, Murmur

R.E.M.'s Murmur turnes 20 this year. Wow. Celebrational article from Creative Loafing.

I'm redesigning Jodi's site today.

Working With Manila

I find this funny.

Argh! Quicken 2003 Mac help needed

If there are any Quicken 2003 for the Mac users out there, I need some help.

Powell transcript archived; Seth's Magic Hiliter

I've copied the Powell transcript to a new archive url. Please use that to point to it.

Transcript of Colin Powell's Presentation to the United Nations Security Council, Feb. 5 2003

Transcript of Colin Powell's UN Iraq Roast?

In reponse to this post by Robert Scoble, I've been Googling for a transcript of Colin Powell's remarks to the UN on Feb. 5. Anyone find them yet?

Thanks Dave!

Cool! Dave was kind enough to link to the Colin Powell speech transcript.

Monkinetic + RSS 2.0

Warning: I'm futzing with my RSS feed, trying to move to RSS 2.0. My feed may break for a short time.

Deathwish

Note to self: Jumping rope to the punk station is a bad idea.

Understanding Visual Organization

Boxes And Arrows: Understanding Visual Organization, by Luke Wroblewski.

Meg Had A Dream...

Meg Hourihan had a wild sci-fi/weblog dream. (Read it first then come back.)
