Once again, |Jodi| beat me to the punch... our dossier was successfully submitted to the National Adoption Center in Kyiv! Thanks to everyone who supported us during this frustrating and trying time! But God came through and we on our way to... more waiting. But this is the waiting we expected, as opposed to the waiting we didn't expect! :-)

So, I thought I'd do a short series on some of the sites I'm subscribed to. The first one I want to mention is Rands In Repose.

I've moved the monthly archive list to its own location, linked in the navigation at the top right of the page.

I've got a couple of posts in the works but my head has gone all fuzzy. I'm going to go do some house-straightening (I've decided that I cannot use the word house-cleaning to describe any house-work I do because the love of my life seems to always have to follow me, Doing It Right) then I'll come back and try to compose. One of the posts is the first in a series of "sites I read" posts that includes a micro-interview with Rands of Rands in Repose. Stay tuned.

Jodi's iPod shuffle went bork the other day - we had connected it successfully to both her TiBook and my PowerBook and updated her music, but then after a few days it refused to be recognized by either machine. No lights, it didn't show up on the desktop or in iTunes, and System Profiler didn't see it on the USB bus. Wah. Just ot be sure I took some time and ran through the instructions on this Apple Discussions post, to no avail.

Ok, friends and neighbors, physical and virtual! |Jodi| and I have decided that it's high time we hold another Arizona Blogger get-together here at our abode in good ol' Gilbert. Back on '02, we hosted a similar event, the AZ/NY Blogger BBQ (guests arriving, Taboo!!, Mark's notes, Marks' pictures) .
