After 30 frikkin hours, Dustin and Mary welcome litle Christian David into the world! Thankfully, they were able to avoid a second C-Section. Congrats guys! W0000!

Chris Messina posted an exploration of the whole open source v. open services conversation. I'm going to respond here in the near future, but wanted to point to it while it's fresh in my mind.

POSH is a new acronym/idea sprung from the foreheads of the idle chatterers (just kidding, guys!) The idea is to give the idea of semantic (suitably meaningful in the linguistic sense) HTML an easy-to-remember handle.

Wow, after a week of marathon designing and coding, I finally got the new design of this site up! Yay me!

As part of my redesign of this site, I've created a Wordpress widget that adds a microformatted hcard "about box". Once the redesign is live I'll be releasing it as an open-source download.

Ok, I missed CSS Naked Day, but I'm redesigning this site, so I thought it would be good to zero-out the stylesheet for a few days to cleanse the palate, as it were. Here's a preview of what's coming:

Via Scott Kurtz, creator of the PVP comic, the news that Johnny Hart, creator of the B.C. comic passed away. He was 76 and was at his desk drawing.
